Join us at the Passerbuys Lounge for our artful nail bar pop-up. The pop-up is hosted in collaboration with Vanity Projects, the luxury concept merging both high-end nail art atelier and video art programming, and passerby favorite Floss Gloss. Vanity Projects will be offering creative manicures utilizing Floss Gloss' high-quality, high-opacity lacquers. Come get your creative juices flowing with some inspiring nail art.
The dynamic duo will be set up in the Passerbuys Lounge from 11am-8pm, so be sure to stop by for an afternoon treat, an post-work de-stresser, or just a killer manicure before heading into the weekend.
About The Brands
Founded by independent curator, Rita de Alencar Pinto in 2009, Vanity Projects first began as a pop-up, organizing itself in the homes and studios of visual artists, friends, and art aficionados. Vanity Projects quickly received offers to present at art fairs, fashion events, museums, and cultural institutions. Offering nail artists the chance to exhibit their talents in a new environment, the program coincided with the salon’s brick and mortar debut in Manhattan’s Lower East Side in July 2013. Since then Vanity Projects has hosted over twenty-five international nail artists from London to Miami, and presented video programs featuring top contemporary video artists and international curators.
Founded by Aretha Sack and Janine Lee in San Francisco in 2011. After meeting in college at California College of the Arts, an instantaneous admiration for each other sparked as they bonded over fashion, music, color and an obsession for everything nails. The ladies formed the nail crew ‘Floss Gloss’ after many late nights of painting and polish-mixing, rap music bumping and girl-time talking. Deemed Floss Gloss for nails that ‘Flossed and Glossed like a Boss’.
