Stephanie Danler is a writer and the author of the National Bestseller Sweetbitter, now available in paperback from Vintage Contemporaries. She holds an MFA from The New School. After attending Kenyon College for undergrad, Stephanie moved to New York to pursue writing while supporting herself by working in the restaurant industry, an experience that inspired her debut novel. Her work has appeared in The Sewanee ReviewTravel + LeisureVogue and The Paris Review. She currently lives in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles.
